Ingredients

  • 3 medium zucchinis, spiralized into noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, heat the remaining olive oil. Add onion and garlic, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Add the cooked beef back to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Toss zucchini noodles with the meat sauce just before serving.
